Blurb: Determined to escape his neglectful parents and a life of poverty, Rex Sloan has dreamed of competing in the Fauxlympics ever since he first saw them airing on TV in a local supermarket. Never one to excel in academics despite having his own set of savvy street smarts, Rex picked up a camera and began filming fitness YouTube videos as a side hustle to fund his gymnastics training. Once a gangly, scrappy kid with No Money, he is now a certified teenage heartthrob and gained popularity for his scathing and yet oddly on-point comedic commentary. He is especially popular with Gen Z and has recently accepted a part-time hosting gig on a FONY show (PUNK'D??? PRANK'D??? SKUNK'D??? idk) and a scholarship for gymnastics at a prominent local university. Torn between coasting on his cushy new job or pursuing his lifelong passion, he finds himself feeling like he's taken on more than he's bargained for.
